Project Overview

A tourism focused website developed using Angular and Firebase technologies, designed to help users discover and explore either local events and activities or events and activities in a chosen area.
The platform integrates the Google Maps API for its maps and reviews, allowing users to view exact locations and read relevant feedback.
Users log in to receive personalised recommendations based on their interests and current location.
The app works well as a promotor for tourism in the local area, an industry which is being constantly invested in. Failte Ireland, in 2024, established a new Tourism Policy Framework to promote tourism in Ireland until 2030, and hope to drive tourism revenue into communities across the country.
